Vito Ribaudo
December 12, 1954 - January 18, 2022
Vito G. Ribaudo, age 67 of Matawan passed away suddenly on January 18th. Born in Ciminna Sicily to the late Giuseppe and Marianna Ribaudo. Vito came to the United States at the age of 11. Vito worked a number of jobs having entrepreneur spirit, owning a construction company, selling cars, and most recently as an investor in a restaurant being built in Aruba named Patrizia of New York. Vito enjoyed cars, watching football and following his Dallas Cowboys, but most of all he loved being outside in the sun, his dogs and his family, especially grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and a brother. Vito is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Maria Ribaudo, his three children, Maria-Anne Firetto and husband Joseph, Nicole Azmy and husband Shady, Christopher Ribaudo, two brothers, Giuseppe and Sal, two sisters, Nina and Fran, and his grandchildren, Sofia, Joseph Jr., and Cameron. Family and friends are invited to remember Vito with visitation gathering on Sunday, January 23 from 2-6 PM at Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Route 516, Old Bridge. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, January 24 10 AM at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Matawan with entombment to follow in St. Gabriel's Church Cemetery, Marlboro. His smile, loud and happy personality will be missed by all who loved him.
