Santo LaLima Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, Santo LaLima on January 24, 2021. Santo passed 19 days after losing his beloved spouse, Anna. They were married for 65 years - he succumbed to his illness but died of a broken heart. Santo was born in Alimena, Italy on October 25, 1937 to Domenico and Giuseppina LaLima. On September 28, 1955 he married Anna Ragazzo and moved to the USA. Santo and Anna were blessed with 4 beautiful children. They moved to Manalapan, NJ where they resided and raised their family for 40 years. He enjoyed family gatherings, farming and taking care of his animals, yearly trips to Italy to visit family and friends and dinners with his family. Santo loved being a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved spending time at the Senior Center, playing cards, socializing, and telling stories of his life. Santo survived by his daughter, Joanne Brenner, and her husband Charles; his son, Dominick LaLima and his wife Stacey, his son, Peter LaLima and his wife Teri; his son, Mario LaLima and his wife Kelli; his grandchildren; Michael, Joseph, Jennifer, Dom, Alyssa, Lucas, Christa, Nicolette, Colton, Danielo; and his 2 great-grandchildren Adrianna and DJ. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral service will be private. Flowers will be accepted by the family.
