Norman Charles Snyder

November 28, 1937 - September 21, 2017

Norman Charles Snyder, 79, life-long resident of Keyport, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, September 21, 2017. Born in Red Bank, Norman grew up and spent most of his life in Keyport. A graduate of Keyport High School, Norman was a Marine Mechanic - Master Technician. He established Seaboard Marine in Keyport in 1982, which he owned and operated until his retirement in 1995. Norman believed in doing what he loved, which he did as an avid boater and fisherman, as well as a talented woodworker. Norman was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Keyport. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Jo Ann (nee: Dallenbach) Snyder. Norman is the loving father of Steve Snyder and wife Caroline and Paul Snyder and wife Jennifer. He is the cherished grandfather of Zachary, Nicole, Cassi, Christiana, Amanda, Aubrey and Logan and caring cousin of William Robinson.
