May 23, 1963 - December 12, 2021
Nancy Crocitto, 58, passed away Sunday, December 12 at her home surrounded by her loved ones, after a six month battle with Cancer. Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, Nancy grew into a strong, kind woman who would be there for anyone who needed her. Because of her generosity, she garnered a close-knit group of family and friends that remained close to her throughout her life. She moved to Old Bridge, New Jersey at 25 to start a family and work as a certified public accountant, and has spent 32 years here expanding her already vast community of "framily" with her three children. Nancy loved to do. Whether it was a Broadway show the Core Four, an evening beach visit with the neighbors, a trip to AC with her sisters, a spin class with her girls, a cross country road trip with her kids, or gardening in her yard, Nancy made sure to fill her life- and the lives of those around her- with every experience the world had to offer. Some of her favorite things to do were riding her bike, traveling somewhere new, and doing activities with her family and friends. One of her crowning achievements was visiting and riding her bike in all 50 states. Nancy showed her love for people in the actions she did for them, showing up at a moment's notice whenever she was needed. And if actions speak louder than words, the love she had for her kids could be heard ringing across the country. Her kids felt that love in every drive to practice, every Disney trip, every team she coached, and every time they could gather all together throughout their lives. Surviving her are her children, Brittany, Ashley, and Nicholas Ahr; her sisters Jeanne Fazio and Laura Eighmey; her step-father Joseph McKinney; and her many nieces and nephews. The wake celebrating her life will be held this Wednesday at Old Bridge Funeral Home from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and the service in her memory will be Thursday 11am at the same location. Masks are requested to prevent the spread of any illness. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider showing your love with seeds or living plants that can be added to her garden this spring.
