Mylinda Josselyn

July 9, 1934 - January 17, 2022

Mylinda Josselyn, 87, of Old Bridge passed away on January 17, 2022. Mylinda served as a caretaker for all in the family, an LPN nurse until retirement at 65, then caretaker for several women until she couldn't do it anymore. Since 2017 she was taken care of and given everything possible to have the best days of retirement possible. Her favorite places were Cracker Barrel and Applebee's and enjoyed going to a Christmas Village in Pa during Christmas time with Loriann and family. She had a great time at a AA Baseball game at the Somerset Patriots Stadium for her birthday along with spending birthdays with Loriann's family. Loriann's Aunt Flo helped Mylinda feel like a sister and very warm for mom's Birthday. She took a trip to the National Army Museum and enjoyed the entire day. She is survived by her three sons Phil Jaye Josselyn,Jeffery Wayne Josselyn and David Josselyn and Ex- daughter in law Angela. Adopted Daughter Loriann and family who filled Mylinda's last days with love, honor, respect, and special moments along with their grandmother Lorraine (Yaya). Her nine grandchildren Michael, Elizabeth, Phil, Mylinda, Juli, Alicia, Ashley Nicole, and Jason. Niece's Pat Huffman, Debbie Culver, Donna, Gwen, and Kristy. Nephews David Downing, Norman Downing, Dale Brewbaker, and Paul Connon. Rick and Lisa Giuliano who gave of themselves in special ways to help her enjoy life. Mylinda Josselyn, the last of four brother's and a sister Lucille, Norman, and Gilbert. Mylinda Josselyn was a rock and servant to the whole family, and gave all she could for Phil to live. She was just one beautiful person to all and she truly loved Jesus Christ and served as a God would have her. What a true blessing she was! Mylinda's son David would like to thank cousin Pat Hoffmann for all the help she provided and all that she accomplished for his mother in Virginia. He would also like to thank American Legion Post 177 for all their help with the repast. He appreciates all who have helped him. All arrangements under the direction of Old Bridge Funeral Home in Old Bridge, NJ 08857 Visitation will be on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Rt 516, Old Bridge with a prayer service at 5PM. Interment and Graveside services will take place in Virginia at Hollies Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday at 2PM.
