Marianna Rini

August 11, 1928 - January 6, 2022

Marianna Rini, 93, of Brooklyn, NY passed away on January 6, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 11, 1928 to Filippo and Giuseppina Dina in Ventimiglia, Italy. Marianna migrated to the United States in 1948 and settled in Brooklyn, NY where she remained a lifelong resident. Marianna loved to sew and enjoyed her work as a seamstress for many years. She was a wonderful cook, a loving grandmother, and she was deeply devoted to her catholic faith. Marianna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Marianna is survived by her daughter Joann Berg and her husband Keith; her daughter Phyllis Rini; her brothers and sisters Frances Attardo, Salvatore Dina, Josephine Lombardo and Phyllis Esposito-Conti; and her two grandchildren Keith and Sabrina Berg. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 62 years, Sebastiano "Benny" Rini; her brother Andrew Dina and her sister Sadie Nuzzo. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Rt 516, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022, 10:00 am at Most Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 133 Amboy Rd, Matawan, NJ 07747.
