Maria Isabel Cantor

January 19, 1944 - May 25, 2022

Maria Isabel Cantor, 78, of Sayreville, NJ died peacefully May 25, 2022 surrounded by family at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Maria was born in San Juan (Santurce), Puerto Rico and lived in the lower East Side, Manhattan before moving to Sayreville where she resided for the last 44 years. Maria was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who lived for her family. She was known for her selfless and caring nature. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and cruising. She called Calvary Chapel Old Bridge her home for the last 36 years. Maria was predeceased by her parents, Eliseo and Dolores Feliciano. She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years Frederic Cantor, her son Michael Cantor and his wife Fernanda Dantas, her daughter Jennifer and her husband Michael Traina, her grandchildren Alexa and Noah Traina, her brothers Angel Feliciano, Eugene Feliciano, and Edwin Feliciano, and her sister Ana Delia Alvarado. Family and friends are invited to a Visitation for Maria on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM with a Funeral Service from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Route 516, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Entombment will follow at 12:30 PM at Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733.
