Linda A. Piccolomini Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Linda was a devoted wife to Gerard, her husband of 33 years, and mother of her two beloved children, Gerard and Marygrace of Old Bridge. She immersed herself fully into her family and adored her nieces and nephews that she leaves behind, Partina Velardi (Milea) of Brooklyn, Vito Milea, Jr. of Brooklyn, James Milea of Brooklyn, Anthony Milea of Marlboro, Samantha Meola (Milea) of Old Bridge and John Milea, including all of their children! Just as fiercely, she was a beloved "Gigi" to her Julia, daughter of Patrick and Nicole Canizio of Old Bridge; Julia gave Linda newfound light and life. Linda also leaves behind her mother, Partina Milea of Old Bridge and beloved brothers Anthony Milea of Sayreville and Vito Milea Sr. of Brooklyn. She is predeceased by her father, Anthony Milea and nephew, John Milea. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she was a "Brooklyn Girl" through and through despite moving to Old Bridge shortly after getting married! Linda had a love of Disney, The Beatles, old time TV shows and especially live music and pub food! She was everyone's biggest fan, especially her brother and son who are talented musicians who play live music often. There was very seldom a show she missed out on; you could always find Linda in the front row giving a big "woo-hoo!" after every single song! Linda was a retired Pre-K teacher after 20 years at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Old Bridge. She brought the same love and compassion she shared with her family and loved ones directly into her classroom. She will be missed tremendously by all. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM, as well as on Monday, July 18, 2022, from 2:00 PM -4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Route 516 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 10:15 am at St. Thomas the Apostle, 333 NJ-18, Old Bridge, NJ, 08857.
