Fred M Mauro Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Fred M Mauro, 91, of Old Bridge, NJ passed away on April 16, 2021 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, NJ. He was born on June 10, 1929 to Michael and Maime Mauro in New York City, NY. Fred moved from New York to Old Bridge, NJ in 1966 where he spent the rest of his life raising his family with his wife Antoinette. Fred was an emphatically kind man who was everybody's friend. He had a passion for painting that he enjoyed sharing with others through teaching art classes at the Old Bridge Township Adult Education School and the club house at the Plaza Grand in Old Bridge. Fred was also a lover of music and avid drummer, he was particularly fond of the music of Frank Sinatra. Fred will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Fred is survived by his loving spouse of 66 years, Antoinette Mauro; his son, Robert Mauro and his wife Tammy; his sister, Florence Vitale; and three grandchildren, Nicolette and her fiance Brandon, Andrea, and Gianna; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Mauro. Visitation will be held Monday, April 19, 2021 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Route 516, Old Bridge, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 10:30 am at the St. Ambrose R.C. Church, 81 Throckmorton Lane, Old Bridge, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, 840 Cranbury South River Rd, East Brunswick, NJ.
